Sketches of Wilderness
Collaged and montaged negatives, pigment prints 120 x 96 cm
Perhaps that painstaking observaton of nature in one’s early years could be banked in the form of a savings account of experiences which would become the artis’t most important resource in her work. Nature in it’s wild always attracted me, trees and plants play a paramount principal role in my work. I see now with a sentimental gaze how the landscape of my childhood disappears, the remains of what once was is to be found only in archive boxes.
